Child Modeling Advice

Modeling, singing, theater and natural pageants are my passion.  I am 10 yrs old (almost 11) and have really enjoyed (OTS) OneTalentSource.com.  I have been modeling since the age of 5.  I am currently with Premiere Promotions Agency which is owned by Stephanie Talafuse www.PremierePromotions.net .  I was the 2008 Supreme Queen Texas Hawaiian Tropic and through Premiere Promotions I have modeled in many fashion shows at local malls.  Premiere Promotions has provided me the opportunity to model at the 2009 Halloween Expo in Houston, which was so fun and exciting.   Actually runway modeling on a big stage was so awesome and to get paid for having fun is just the icing on the cake. I also had the opportunity to be in a Holiday Commercial by Academy, and a Car commercial, and many audition opportunities. 

     Through many awesome photographers I have been able to be involved in a lot of awesome projects.  I can remember my first Group Shoot at Herman Park and Danny Vivian; He was my first photographer to shoot with; I was 5 yrs old- what fun and great photos.  Through the help of Mark Matthews, The Loft Studios, I was photographed at age 7 in an Academy Display Ad which was displayed for over 2 years. Many photographers have requested me to shoot with them, what an awesome feeling, and even traveled from New York, via Texas, on their way to California to shoot with me- Dave Feiling what a Talented photographer.   I also have won many photo contests and I owe this to networking with incredibly talented photographers on OneTalentSource.com all over Texas and the US.  We have so Many Awesome Friends that we communicate with frequently.

I am currently the 2009 Texas Petite Queen for Texas Choice Pageants owned by Sandi Maxwell , which also owns Texas Pageant Network, http://txpageantnetwork.ning.com/, and http://txtalentnetwork.ning.com/, These Boards have allowed me to participate in Natural pageants and participate in Casting calls provided by the networking of others.  I will be in the theater production of Snow White playing one of the dwarfs (smiley) which starts January 2010 at Company Onstage in Houston, http://www.companyonstage.org/, See ya there! 

I have been blessed with the love and support of my family.  I have also been blessed with a Great networking family of Photographers, MUA’s, Actors, and other Models through OTS owned by Marc and Robin Binder.  Do your homework, check references, and always ask questions.  Make sure you know where you are going and what time.  Always call and confirm appointments.  Talk to other models/talent that have experienced a certain photographer or event.  Make sure your Headshots are up to date.  Make sure you are prepared with hair, makeup, clothing, shoes, and paperwork.  Time is precious and you might only have 45 seconds to make an impression.  In this business there are not many Re-do’s.  Make the most out of the time that you have, either with an audition or photographer.  And most of all Have Fun!!  Whatever you do, Do it 100%, and Leave it all on the Stage- It your Time to shine!!
