Couture Fashion Week was held at the great Wadolf Astoria in New York City on September 11th-13th. The show exhibits Fashion Designers from Across the World. I was fortunate to be cast with out traveling to New York. My portfolio here on One Talent Source displayed a range of talented photographers that I have worked with in capturing my dream.
Auditions are usually for 18 and older but through my display of professional photographers they decided to take a chance on me. The adventure started on the 10th when you go to the fittings with about 120 other Models and some of the girls are from The America's Next Top Model girls. Modeling is like acting you have to be confident and convince the designer why they should pick you to wear their designs. This year I was picked for 8 shows out 12 only because 4 were almost at the same time and I did not have time to change hair and make-up. I started modeling for charities in my community and being an advocate for my Austistic brother. The more I modeled the more I loved the dresses, the runway, and meeting new model friends.
The reason I wanted to become a Supermodel is to help mentor younger girls, and use the money that I made to help build a better community..I wanted to stand for something, not just a pretty face but for everyone to hear my voice and my mission "to help each other and to make this world better a better place".

The most amazing thing that I will always remember from my experiece is meeting fabulous people, designer from across the world and most of all sitting with the ANTM girls that gave me advice. When you walk out on the Runway and you hear people clapping for you, then you know you have done an excelent job on presenting the dress. What a feeling that is...
My advise to the younger girls would be please listen to you Mom and Dad, they know what they are telling you about life and they are their to help you acheive your dreams. You may not always get the job that you want or like but that one job or task, you never know who you will meet. Do your homework on your dreams, know the market, study poses, designers, study your pictures which side is your best profile...Never try to look older than you are because when you show up for auditions with photographs that don't look like you, you will not get the job. Be your self... Fashion Week is hard, you show up at 8:00 A.M. and leave at 12 midnight....No food so always bring plenty of water, food, snacks and please bring a model bag that has tape, bobby pins, scissors, safety pins, make-up, etc.
I will always do the shows in New York and where ever they ask me to. I have build a trust with the designers and staff so I know I will always be in good hands. Myself I still have not reach my dreams, I am still working on it. Bryant Park is next, the big one, the one that pays 3,500 dollars a show to walk the Runway.
First and foremost is my education, Modeling and acting come after that and your family.
Just keep reaching and you will get there, for some their dreams come sooner for others it takes longer. The song that descibes my life and my journer is the song my Mylie Cyrus. - "Its about the climb."
It not about how fast you get their to your dreams its about the climb .. the people you meet and admire along the way".
