What’s more fun than a nice summer day on the beach with family and friends? What about a photo workshop on the beach with photographers, models, actors, family and friends? That’s exactly what occurred on East Beach the morning of July 12, 2009 with the OTS (One Talent Source) "Kids Beach Fun Fashions" Thephotobinder.com Photography workshop. It was a blast for all.

Twelve photographers and twenty young models met-up on East Beach just after sunrise. All the models and actors (ages 5-15) were with their parents (a requirement for any OTS children’s photo workshop) and eager to begin the photo shoot. The concept for this photo shoot-out workshop was "a beach fun fashion shoot" but that didn’t slow them down from getting into the water even clothed in their high fashion attire.

It was non-stop photography and modeling action until around 10:30 am when most of the photographers bailed out due to the heat. Heat, what heat? It didn’t seem to affect the young models. Most of the kids stayed on the beach with their family until late afternoon. Half of the families came from out of town, some traveling over 200 miles and many of them spent the entire weekend in Galveston.

OTS (onetalentsource.com) owners Marc and Robin Binder have been putting together concept photography workshops since 2005 and Galveston has become a favorite and exciting destination amongst photographers, models and all other OTS participants. Previous workshops have been held at the Train Museum, on board the Elyssa, around the Strand, near San Luis Pass and on East Beach.
