A concept shoot is a photo shoot where one has done advance planning to achieve an actual image of general idea conceived in the mind of a visual artist is often associated with painting or sculpture, but its definition also includes photography. A photograph can express emotions and the photographer tells a story through the images.

INSPIRATION
One can alter perceptions, convey thoughts or influence an impression of a person, service, clothing or product. I have found that many photographers enjoy breaking out of the daily routine to fulfill a creative vision. A good concept can inspire a photographer to want to work with you, or spark ideas that can take on a collaborated effort. I don’t believe that every photographer is an artist; no more than one could place a paintbrush in someone’s hands and expect them to produce something beautiful. There are great photographers, and there are those who are capable of envisioning and executing concepts wonderfully.
INSPIRATION for a shoot can be found almost anywhere, paintings, postcards, movies, music and even in other photographs as people generally react to stimuli quite differently.
A personal example would be an image I came across of Romulus and Remus. The Roman legend is of twins, who were abandoned and raised by a she-wolf. When I saw the photo posted on here. I visualized the concept above.
Art inspires, and the effects that a particular piece can have on your thoughts or ideas is endless!
