my name is lauren blackburn and i am seventeen years old. i currently moved from seattle, washington to longview, texas. my style in clothing is mainly urban or grunge type. besides that i am willing to try any form of style. the crazier, the better!!! i am a junior at longview high school. the motto i live by is, "dont set your self up for failure". this motto was stated by my beloved mother and i live by this saying every day of my life. i am a very out going person and love to do anything exciting and crazy. since i was a child, i have always bought clothes and cut them up differently or added things just to make them better. i highly appreciate fashion and have always dreamed of being in a small or even big range of modeling professions. while attending high school i participated in three years of theatre class. i have been in choir my whole life and love music. music has been the most helpful attribute in my life.it has inspired me to look and feel a certain way at most times. after graduating highschool, i am wanting to go into the airforce and serve for two years of my life. after this, i am hoping to go to college to study cosmetology and psychology at the same time. my mother is a hairdresser and i also hope to study in her footsteps while going to college to be a psychologist so i will have something to fall back on.

for several years in a row i actively performed in cheerleading and made captain a couple of times. during this, i recieved an award for being most influential and hard working.
in theatre class, i had to create and direct a play of my own. after presenting, i recieved an award for best actor and director.
in my seventh grade year, i won an award in choir for first place in u.i.l competition
