Shamon Freitas Agency was established in 1987. Carol Shamon Freitas, the owner, was a model herself and wanted to protect up-and-coming talent from less than reputable agents and managers. The agency was conceived of and remains a booking agency. Shamon Freitas Agency is not a school and does not take photographs. The agency prides itself on fairness, honesty and integrity. Although based in San Diego, Shamon Freitas models and actors can be seen throughout the world on television, film, and in print.

The Shamon Freitas Agency is California licensed and franchised by SAG, AFTRA, and AEA.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Actors: Please submit a current headshot and resume.

Models: Please submit a current zed card or current snapshots. Include at least one full body shot, a headshot (showing teeth), and a profile shot.

Voice-Over Artists: Please submit a current demo CD with production quality comparable to those featured on our website. We do not accept demos via email and we do not visit personal websites.
We do NOT accept electronic submissions (including demos).
Special Instructions for Children
Children age 5 to 17 years: If your child has a current professional photo and resume please send it to us to be considered for representation. If your child does not have a professional photo and resume, current snapshots and a cover letter are acceptable. Include a smiling photo (showing teeth), the childâ??s date of birth (not age), height, weight, and guardian contact information. Please see work permit information below.

Children under age 5: We do not sign children under the age of five to exclusive contracts. We do welcome current photos of your child, which will be kept on file for the period of time that the child resembles the photo. Please update us with current photos as your child grows. We encourage you to send in at least five laser sheets that include a photo composite with the childâ??s name, date of birth (not age), height, weight, clothing size, and guardian contact information. Please see work permit information below.

Work permits: Any minor working in the entertainment business in the State of California is required to have a valid entertainment work permit (good for a six month period). This can be obtained free of charge from the Labor Board at (619) 220-5451. Though we cannot guarantee that your child will be selected to work, we strongly encourage you to keep a valid permit in the event of a booking.

Please do NOT follow up with a phone call. To confirm receipt of your submission, you are welcome to send it via certified mail. We will contact you upon interest. If you are not contacted, we do not have a place for you at this time. You may resubmit in six months, as our needs do change.
