Mala Singh is the founder of SAMA Model and Talent Agency established in 1997 which has a roster of over 2,000 models, actors, Dancers, singers and other talents. SAMA's organizers have been co-ordinating and organizing Pageants in Canada since 1977 when the first South Asian Pageant namely "Miss Diwali" was held in Toronto.
Since 1998 the SAMA has conducted an Annual Pageant called the "SAMA KING AND QUEEN PAGEANT". Every year the top male and female models compete to be crowned. The pageant also conducts a world-wide talent search "SAMA Star Search"for the best models and talent via the internet.The King and Queen Pageant also awards crowns to the children's division of SAMA Prince, Princess, Jr. Prince and Jr. Princess.
SAMA's founders are also Regional Directors of Miss Canada International, Miss Toronto International and Miss Brampton International.
SAMA models have competed in Miss World, Miss Canada, Miss India World-Wide, Miss India North America, Miss India Beauty Princess, Miss India-Canada, and Miss India Carasauga.

SAMA models are trained by a former Miss World contestant on how to prepare for pageants, stage dynamics and model walking techniques, self improvement courses on how to build self esteem, confidence, interview skills, personal grooming (hair care, skin care, diet, nutrition, & exercise), Pageant Coaching, model cat walk, proper Modeling techniques, good posture, poise, proper etiquette and overcoming stage fright. Acting coaches train for preparation for auditions and screen tests for Television Commercials, Dramas, Sitcoms and TV Serials.

SAMA Models have been the opening act for the last ten years for all the mega star shows including Ashwaria Rai, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. SAMA talent have been featured in many corporate commercials such as Bell Canada, AT&T, NASDAQ Stock Exchange, International Clothiers, Ford Focus, Rogers Wireless, Motorola, TD Waterhouse, Bayer, RBC Bank and many more. SAMAS actors and actresses have been featured in block buster hit movies like Keshu Ramsays movie Hero and Khiladi 420, Deepa Mehtas Bollywood Hollywood, Jimmy Mistrys That touch of Pink, Disneys History Project, Mitra Sens Peace Tree and the block buster hit Yash Johars Kal Ho Naa Ho. Mala Singh was the Executive Director for the television show Fashion Asia which aired on ATN. Mala hosted two half an hour television shows on City TV and Global Television. She is also Regional Director for the Miss Canada International Pageant for the last seven years. She has trained the contestants for The Miss Canada Pageant, Miss Toronto Pageant and the SAMA King and Queen Pageant. Mala has been co-coordinating Pageants, Charity events, variety shows and fashion shows in Canada since 1977. SAMA organizes a Pageant called the SAMA King and Queen Pageant which is in its 10th year. This pageant crowns talent in various divisions as King, Queen, Prince and Princess. The SAMA Star Search scouts out new talent in acting, dancing and modeling.
