La Mode also prefers not to represent children under the age of 4. Occasionally we will make an exception for gifted children who are 4, but the child and parent must be accepted by our agents.

For years Vancouver has been referred to as Hollywood North. We recommend that all of our actors who wish to be serious about work in the Vancouver markets be listed on the talent workbook sites.

INTAKES:

Open intakes at our studio location every Thursday afternoon from 1pm-4pm, no appointment is necessary.

Actors should provide a headshot and a talent resume. Singers should also have a demo tape ready.

Requirements for Models are:

Female height minimum - 5'6" if 14 or older, unless attending for talent selection;
Male height minimum 5'8" if 14-17, and 5'11" if 18 or older, unless attending for talent selection;
Ages 4 and older may attend for talent selection for the Vancouver and Toronto Markets
For models, correct body proportioning and measurements according to height
Portfolio, minimum 8-10 enlargements;
Composite cards (zed cards)
If a model does not meet the requirements, we would prefer to wait one year or so and work on their book development and image,rather than inviting them to attend.
