Model & Actor Submission The Agency Models & Talent is one of the oldest agencies in Kansas City ; however we are not one of the largest. We do not sign every person who submits a photograph or interviews with us. Our philosophy is simple and time tested. We select the best not the most qualified actors and models in each age division, ethnic group, and talent level. By limiting the number of our contracted talent we believe this allows them to compete with our competitors not with each other. By accepting a smaller number of more talented actors and models we can better represent our talent to those who employ them. If you would like to be considered for representation please submit the following: A full body and close-up photograph taken within the last four weeks.
Your name, address, daytime phone number, date of birth, height, weight, and clothing sizes.
Resume or a list of previous experience or training relating to this business. If you do not have any experience please let us know your areas of interest (i.e. modeling, acting, promotions, etc.)

The Agency Models & Talent has been locally owned and operated in the Kansas City area since 1979. In September 2001, The Agency was purchased by Janis Kliethermes who has over 20 years of experience in modeling and acting. However, the philosophy of The Agency Models & Talent has always remained the same
To represent quality actors and models of all ethnic groups, ages, and sizes for Print, Television, Film, Industrials, Runway, Fashion, Voice-overs, and Promotions. We work with clients locally and nationally including Hallmark, Wal-Mart, Sprint, Lee Jeans, Payless Shoes, Applebee's, AMC Theaters, Gear for Sports, Sonic, Best Buy, H & R Block, Kansas City Power and Light, and Children's Mercy Hospital to name a few.

We are not a school, so we do not require expensive mandatory acting or modeling classes. We do not require our talent to wear or sell any particular line of cosmetics. Simply stated, our job is to represent our talent to legitimate, paying clients for all aspects of the business. When our talent makes money, we make money.
I hope my 20 plus years of experience gives me a unique perspective in identifying what is important to the client. By spending so much time over the years in front of the camera, it now helps me to understand and emphasize to our talent what the client is expecting behind the camera. When our talent is hired, the client can be assured they will be on time, professional and will always have a positive attitude.
