Impact is a worldwide database of models and actors. this in itself is not unique; modeling and acting databases have been around since 1996. what distinguishes Impact is its revolutionary payment structure, corporate-funded marketing power, and vast network of scouts and talent managers. Impact allows talent to post their digital portfolio for free, with no strings attached. here's how it works: when a client selects a talent or submits an opportunity for which the talent is qualified, talent will receive a booking request from the client. the talent then has the option of whether or not to purchase that booking request. talent pay $3.95 for each booking request. there are no other hidden fees; talent pay only on a per request basis. this unique payment structure is to the entertainment industry what google's pay-per-click has been to the search industry, and i-tunes pay-per-song has been to the music industry. it is nothing short of revolutionary.
