Thanks for stopping by.
My name is Paul Lara and I have been a photographer all my life, and I'm offering my services in portrait and fashion photography. I am an award-winning, published professional. I believe great fashion and portraiture is the result of collaboration, and I want to work with talented models with interesting ideas. I'm available for hire, but my TFP availability is limited. If you have cool concepts that no one else 'gets', let's figure out how to make it happen!
My philosophy about the craft of fashion photography:
Less Is More, and 'sexy' is sometimes from what is not seen.
I will treat you with courtesy and respect.
I realize my demeanor plays a role in the level of relaxation you have while we create unforgettable images, so I try to plan as much as I can in advance, and then, when the moment begins, just start shooting like the wind! ;) I'm easy-going, quick-witted, and open to ideas and feedback on site. I've been happily married for 25 years, so I don't flirt with models, or do nude shoots. This is a collaborative experience at all moments, so let's work together and have FUN as we go along.

Im sooooo glad that our shoot worked out the way it did! Thanks so much for staying -again : /. I really like that you came out and really taught both me and Andre a couple things- you're a great photographer and it really shows when you can help others bring out their artistic flare. I think we got some rockin images [ i really want to see how they turn out!]... you had some great ideas. Thanks again so much for all your help and time- I had a great day out in the sun and above all it was super fun.
