I am a freelance make-up artist. I work in many areas of make-up such as; television, film, theatre, fashion, photographic make-up, special effects, prosthetics and face and body painting. I have recently been working on various photo shoots and promotional work. I was a finalist in the world body painting competition in Austria 2005. Hiya,
I am a photographer in the Los Angeles and London areas. Currently I work in the industry focusing on fashion, advertising, portraiture / headshots and still life photography, working on commissions worldwide.
My Artistic idea:
It is in my photography that I use the basic forms of action light, shape, form, and frame texture, while also capturing my subject's emotion. It is through these ideas that I capture my own artistic imagination, which will form the art of conception. My photographs would represent a winning formula for any image within the glamour-fashion industry.

Models that have already registered with TheUrbanFashionWeek.com may participate for FREE!!! New model one-time registration fee of $10. Make-up artists and hair stylists do not have a registration fee although sponsorship packages are available. Designers must submit registration to participate as indicated on the website.
All must bring photos of their work, portfolio, comp cards, business cards, or samples.
All press invited to attend as this will also be a press conference where press may meet everyone involved with this event.
All vendors are welcome to attend for registration.

TheUrbanFashionWeek.com is launching the first Urban Fashion Week in DC May 15-21, 2006. This event will include 7 days of fashion shows, seminars, and parties. The event will also include 2 days of the kids fashion week (ages 5 - 13).

Billy Bad A** the founder of Miami/LA/NY Urban Fashion Weeks has teamed up with Alonzo Black, CEO of Zobe Fashions, Models, & Talents (International Agency) based in the Washington DC Metro area to start the Urban Fashion Week in DC. This business affiliation will bring the urban fashion week to the heart and soul of the nation's capital.
"I felt strong about bringing it to DC after visiting the city on many occasions. A family member graduated from Howard University and made be realize the true make up of DC and what it has to offer to the world. DC is such a international city with its own unique style."
