After an extended break from photography due to illness in my family and the birth of our daughter Ava, we're back :) Thank you for viewing my online portfolio! Hampton (for those that are curious) is located on the Mississippi River in the Quad Cities metro area with a scenic (?) view of Iowa. As we like to say, it isn't the end of the world but we can see Iowa from here... We are a small, home based studio operated by my wife and I and have been shooting weddings and special events professionally since 1994. We specialize in Weddings and Seniors but use model photography to bring an edge to our work. Got an idea for a unique project? Hi Andy,
In answer to your question about the beauty light. I like it! I know that it is close to your model but it still looks like a large light source that is also very crisp, certainly more so than a softbox. With the reflector beneath her face it's perfect. I guess that's why they call it a beauty light. Enjoyed your portfolio ...
